Day 21 - Split, Croatia

Today marks three weeks of travel and almost the half way mark. Boy that's gone quick. The rain has stopped and the sun is shining so it should be a good day.

Croatia is not immune to economic woes. Many of its factories have closed as manufacturing moves offshore. There is 25% unemployment but despite this people seem to have money here. I'd imagine the story would be quite different in the rural areas.

Finn had a long overdue haircut and we had a great dinner in one of the many small walkways. Afterwards, we sat with a wine and listening to live music in the Diocletian Palace - an open air area among the ruins of an ancient palace.

Tomorrow we head to the island of Korcula.
